Can frozen meat be cooked in the crock-pot? I know this was possible with a pressure cooker, but I don't know how it translates to a crock-pot;. Thanks!

I'm looking for a pasta dish that would be nice enough to serve for guests. I don't want anything really heavy, and would rather go meatless. Can anyone suggest a good one?

Chef Leslie, I have one of the Lodge griddles you described, and I must be missing something. I followed the directions for seasoning it (both sides), and followed the cleaning directions, but it's rusting and I'm afraid to cook on it. Is there something I can do now to start from the beginning and undo whatever went wrong? Also, does it have to be washed under water, or just wiped/scraped down? Mine always seems greasy (even when it's rusty) and it marks my kitchen sink up really badly when I put it in there.
