How could this be bad? :) My hubby loved it, served it separate for kids..used reduced fat soups and FF shredded cheese, also rinsed and drained the meat. (use foil on top if you are baking with FF shredded cheese). GOOD!

THANK YOU for this!!! The first casserole my picky 4 year old would eat, not to mention my choosy hubby! I made a few subs: FF cream cheese, reduced fat sour cream, ff cheddar cheese, and the wacky veggie noodles. I added salt and pepper, this was just so good!!!! Hint: Any time you bake FF shredded cheese on top of a casserole, cover with foil, it won't brown, but it will be nice and melted and GOOD...if you don't it will dry out and we find it "yucky".My son asked me to save him some for lunch..my daughter (2) didn't have any left. :)

Hi Jess, great idea, I did this for both my pregnancies, it was so re-assuring! I used the website http://allrecipes.com/recipe/colettes-smoked-sausage-fritatta/detail.aspx to maake a month full of meals and freeze it. Planning a family vacation this summer? Meals, snacks and drinks can add up during all those days away from home. Here are some basic tips to keep those costs down.

Our largest expense was alcohol, so we would go to the corner stone and buy the regional alcohol and make drinks instead of buying the ones at the restaurants and clubs. We also would buy isntant oatmeal and meal bars for breakfast so we could cut back, then we would have a normal lunch and dinner (This is when we would go to resorts). When travelling we always brought a cooler in the van and packed full of healthy snacks and waters. I love the reusable water bottle, we just bought the Brita filter water bottles, those are great for travelling b/c you can get water anywhere.

Any suggestions how to use my vegetables I grow in my backyard?

I'm a bit late on this..but if you go to the main dashboard, and select "See all recipes" you will get a list of categories, I'll suggest we frame that up differently, any particular way you want to see that displayed? I was thinking something like "Recipes by category" instead of "all recipes".
-
Sorry, it is actually "My meal plan", not "dashboard". So "My Meal Plan", then "See All Recipes"

Now to actually answer the question..the only thing I have been successful with in my garden is peppers, so no matter what the pepper I substitute mine for it..so far it has worked, you can also search for a particular recipe based on what you have, the instructions are above. So glad you are having better luck than I am! ;)
