I like that I can delete the items from my shopping list that I already know I have at home in my stockpile. I do wish I could "input" my stockpile into the memory of my meal planner, so it could use that as a "store" to choose items from. *dream*

  • Quick and Easy Vegetable Sides

Does anybody have any favorite vegetable side dishes to recommend? I usually just steam green beans or asparagus and would like to add a little variety.

Cut up a cucumber, halve some cherry tomatoes, crumble in some feta cheese, Italian seasoning (like Mrs. Dash Italian) and some Olive Oil. Chill for awhile. Easy, delicious, and healthy. Make it even more healthy by sprinkling flax seed meal in there. No one will know it's there, but you'll get Omega 3s and fiber.

I use those rolled up Pillsbury (or store brand) pie dough crusts. They are circular and you just unroll them and put them into a pie pan. I have better things to do than make pie dough from scratch. It's kinda hard. Box comes with 2. I use one for the quiche, and one I lay flat, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, cut up into little squares and bake. That's dessert: pie dough cookies.
