      its a lot of fun, kohl's sells them for $30 - they come with sticks, prong to remove and injector for pudding, etc; all u do is pour the batter in the hole and 4 min later, they're done! however, i am still trying to find the right consistency in the batter to assist in the sticks holding the cake balls. the decorating products can be purchased at hobby lobby or joanne fabrics for minimal cost and will last a long time. i thought it might be a fun thing to have for a football party, and for the holidays - just wondered if anyone has "played" with them enough to give me some tips that would make the frosting application less messy and easier to decorate with

      thanks for that info - the cake pop maker however has you pour batter right into a hot mold so you are not going to be mixing a prebaked cake with frosting, which will have a thicker consistency...see what i mean?
