This recipe is not quite right. First the sherry amount is missing from ingredients, I used 2 tbsp after researching. Second my sauce was waaaay too thick and it broke. I noticed a lot of Thermidor recipes out there include egg, not sure if that would help but 4 tbsp of flour was too much either way. Sauce was grainy, wouldn't coat the fettuccine I served with it and just a mess. Only redeeming thing here is it still had an awesome flavor. Even so, spent way too much on expensive lobster to waste it on this recipe, do not suggest until its tweeked. Since this is the very first time a FOTT recipe has disappointed, I'm letting it pass but don't recommend this one to others for now.

Took longer--I think it was because of our thick cube steak. I bumped the temp up to 425. Total time for us was 45 mins (last 10 mins on 425) I think I want to add a bit or Worcestershire Sauce to the soup and I did add a bit of granulated garlic to the meat prior to the onions and potatoes. Otherwise, we liked it.

Yum yum yum! Tip. I bought one of those rotisserie chickens you can get at most groceries and Walmart for 5 bucks and used the meat from it. Quick and such great flavor, plus you have tons of extra for other things. I used the extra for chciken salad sandwiches with celery and cranberries, bonus!
