I doctored mine a bit, based on comments here. Added 1/2 Tsp minced garlic (about 1 clove), 1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce, a handful of fresh chopped parsley (just bc I had it and needed to use it), 1/4 Tsp pepper, 1/2 Tsp salt. Everything else I used straight from recipe. Cooked at 350 for about 50 minutes. Middle was a bit squishy, but not undercooked. Too much tomato paste? I may try it again, with a few more modifications. Wasn't my fav, but my son and hubby enjoyed it. ~Jen~

I made this in the morning and then had my husband put it in the oven after work. Everyone ate it. it was a different tasting meatloaf because of the tomato paste, but I enjoyed it.

Been doing it this way for 20+yrs. I also pierce it multiple times with a knife and generously pour worcestershire sauce before adding the soup mix and add a soup can of milk. Don't forget to throw in the baby carrots. My now adult sons think that I have always been the Julia Childs of roast and let's just keep it that way.

Could stand to cut back on the cream mixture, recipe calls for too much. Used Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

What type of salad dressing do you use?
-
Hi Elaine! The salad dressing referred to in this recipe is a creamy dressing/salad dressing spread such as Miracle Whip. You could also use mayonnaise or yogurt (or half yogurt half mayo) as a substitute for the salad dressing. I have edited this recipe to include this information and to be more clear.
