Ingredients
- 4 (whole) chicken quarters, (4 thighs and 4 legs)
- 1/3 (cup) honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 (cup) soy sauce (wheat free tamari for gluten free)
- 2 (tablespoon) vegetable oil
- 1-2 (tablespoon) sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
- Separate thigh from leg by cutting between the bones. Remove skin from chicken and trim off all fat. Combine sauce, honey, oil and garlic. Place chicken and honey mixture in a resealable plastic bag, close and massage bag to coat the chicken. Refrigerate for 2-8 hours (or overnight).
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line pan with foil. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place chicken on foil and bake 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. An instant-read thermometer should register 165 degrees F when inserted into the thickest part of the thigh. Serve.
