a big hit with everyone and SO EASY. I used 1 1/4 lbs turkey and 3/4 lb ground beef, added some basil and pepper and sprinkled a bit of shredded cheddar on top during last 5 min of cooking just to KICK IT UP A NOTCH!

Tried this tonight with good reviews. I did add salt and pepper to the meat mixture and topped it with shredded cheese. Thanks!

I edited the recipe to add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings (salt and pepper) which are typical in most pies of this type. It would be even better with some thyme (1 t.), 2 garlic cloves (crushed) and rosemary (2 t. fresh chopped) added to the turkey as well.

So the Worcestershire sauce and seasonings are added to the turkey (while cooking)?

@Angela, the seasoning and Worcestershire sauce to the meat/onion mixture after you drain it.

That's what I did, Leslie. I think I would probably add a little more than a teaspoon of Worcestershire next time, but it was good. I also added some shredded cheddar cheese on top of the potatoes for the last few minutes of cooking. It turned out really well and everyone liked it!

Good! I did what someone else did and used diced tomatoes instead of corn, and it was tasty!
