really tasty! Everyone enjoyed this in my family. A few tips: it definitely doesn't need extra salt and pepper. Each person can add when eating to their preference. Secondly, I used polska kielbasa which is pretty high in fat. It'd be better to use turkey or chicken sausage. Also, it used about a teaspoon butter per packet which was plenty. A tablespoon seems excessive esp when you are getting so much fat and flavor from the sausage.

easily done w little clean up. if you want to make it taste better try a different kind of sausage & put the veggies on the bottom so the juices coat them during cooking

Didn't have much flavor. I liked the sausage and the potatoes, but overall isn't a recipe that I will try again.

we do this ALOT in the summer on the grill. we don't use sausage as it is to accompany whatever we are grilling. instead we add onions, butter, salt and garlic powder. Never thought about doing them in the house before!

I'd say it was just okay. I like the idea but think it would be better if cooked on the stove top so that the sausage could brown. Also, I cooked the packages for 45 minutes and the potatoes were barely cooked, my bf actually finished cooking his in the microwave. Not sure why but they may need more time.

The potatoes didn't cook because they were too fat of slices. Hints for speeding up the cook time is to put sliced potatoes in the microwave for 5 min (don't cook through just until softened) I make something like this dish all the time. For those of you who want more flavor try adding anaheim or hot banana peppers to the mix. Remember Chilies get hotter when cooked!

I thought I had them fairly thin, but will try the microwave trick next time! It was a good recipe otherwise!

I suggest slicing the potatoes very thin (not potato chip thin, but about 2 mm thick) and then blanch them for about 2 minutes. Drain them well and pat dry. Then add to the recipe.

Quick, easy, tasty. The only thing I did different, was substitute fresh mushrooms for canned. Will consider making again.
