While I enjoyed the ease of using my crock pot for this recipe, the flavor was very bland and the maracroni came out too dry and crunchy. I would rather take the little bit of extra time and use my recipe that goes in the oven!

Chef Heather, Why is the nutritional information on these recipes no longer available?
I really need that info to monitor calorie count. Thanks!

Hi Janet! We are in the process of redesigning our site to make it more user friendly and clearer to read. As part of this process some of the old features have been 'lost' but we are working quickly to add them back to the site. So please bear with us as we make these changes to better your experience in the long run. While the current view of the recipes, if viewing the recipes from the dashboard, does not contain the nutritional data, there is a simple work around to view the recipes in the 'old' format which still shows this data. To do this type the name of the recipe into the search box, located at the top of this page. The search results will show the recipe and allow you to click on the title of the recipe; which will bring you to the 'old' view of the recipe which contains the nutritional data. I hope this helps!

I didn't like this after the 5th bite. I tasted like I was just eating the block of cheese. My daughter loved it though.

I was wondering if the macaroni absorbs a lot of the sauce while it's cooking in the crock pot. I usually like my macaroni to still have a good bite to it, and for the sauce to still be nice and creamy. I think I'd be sad without bread crumbs and a little browned cheese on top.
