Crock Pot Barbecue Pork Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 1 (20.0 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 2 (cup) water
  • 1 (small) onion, chopped
  • 1 (tablespoon) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (tablespoon) apple cider vinegar
  • 3 (pound) country style pork spare ribs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  2. Mix first 5 ingredients together and set aside.
  3. Spread 3 pounds country style spare ribs on baking sheet, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook ribs in 500 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Place partially cooked ribs in crock-pot. Pour sauce mixture over ribs. Cook on high for 2 hours, or low for 6 hours.

    I had never cooked the ribs before putting them in the crockpot but I followed the recipe and they came out awesome. Will certainly make again. My partner even liked them and she really does not like ribs a lot.

    Turned out good. I think the meat needed a little more flavor, next time I think I will season the meat a little better before putting in oven
