Extremely easy and the family LOVED it.

Only change I made was to salt and pepper the pork roast and brown it before I put it in the crock pot.

Hi Anonymous! Looks like you spotted a typo! Thanks for letting us know! You are absolutely right this should not be labeled vegan. I have deleted the vegan label from this recipe.

For some reason, this item is still coming up under a "vegan" keyword search. Is that because it says "vegan" in the comments?

@Holly, you're right! I just tested it. I'll forward this to support to see if they can figure out why it would come up under a search for "vegan" dishes. Thanks for pointing it out.

Yes Holly, I do believe when you type words in the search box above that the results will show all recipes that show that word (in the comments, ingredients list, etc.). To get the most narrowed list of vegan recipes your best result is to follow the vegan boards, found here: (http://www.foodonthetable.com/topics/vegan) and make sure that your food preferences and settings are marked and labeled as "vegetarian" and "meat free". While these recipes may not be completely vegan they will be the easiest to adapt. If you need help adjusting your account settings or transforming vegetarian recipes to vegan let us know and we will be happy to help you.

I was rushing this morning, and I put the bbq sauce and water in all at the same time. Will it still turn out okay?

Hi Mary- I apologize but I just saw your comment. How did this turn out for you? Adding the water and the bbq sauce at the same time would be fine, the sauce would just be a little 'runny' or on the thin side (but still have the bbq flavor). You could fix this by removing the cooked meat from the cooking liquid, slicing or shredding the meat and adding additional bbq sauce.

That's pretty much exactly what happened. It still tasted good, but I wished it had more BBQ flavor. Unfortunately, I had used all the BBQ sauce for the recipe. I just scooped out a small bowl of the sauce to dip my sandwich in before each bite. I will definitely make it again. Thanks for a great recipe!

@Anonymous, you don't need to shred it at all. It's beef tenderloin and it's so tender you can bite right through it.

I ended up shredding it, when I drained the juice it started falling apart anyway. The bbq baked potatoes were amazing! Turned out beyond perfect!
