Cooking on high for the entire suggested time was WAY too long. We cooked on high for 2 hours and low the remainder of the time (and added the veggies a little earlier to make up the difference) and it was perfect. :)

Eh it was roast...fine enough but I am apparently not a huge fan of roast. My family liked it well enough though.

Hi Christina- It looks like you spotted a typo! Yes it should be pounds. I have edited the recipe to show this amount.

Is there anywhere you provide nutritional info for your recipes?

Hi Sylvie- While a select number of our recipes contain nutritional data, this is not something we currently offer for all recipes on the site. However, if you do a quick internet search you will find a number of websites that provide nutritional data calculators that will allow you to plug in recipes or ingredients and will calculate the nutritional information for you. A rough estimate of the nutritional data for this recipe would be approximately 301 calories 17 carbs 14g fat and 23g protein; per serving. This data is based on using sirloin tip roast, which is a leaner cut of beef than the boneless chuck roast and is based on a 4 oz serving of meat. Please note that this is just an estimate since I am a chef not a registered dietician or nutritionist.
