Ingredients

  • 4 (8.0 ounce) t-bone steaks
  • 2 (teaspoon) paprika
  • 2 (teaspoon) granulated garlic
  • 1 (teaspoon) onion powder
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) white pepper
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) dried thyme
  • Pinch salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Thoroughly combine the dry rub ingredients, except salt; rub into steaks on all sides. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-8 hours (or overnight).
  2. Remove steaks from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking, allowing them to come to room temperature.
  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Broil steaks 3-4 inches from heat source to desired doneness; about 8-10 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. Season with salt after broiling. Allow steaks to rest 10 minutes prior to serving.
