Need to reduce the sodium somehow.

@ICCook- The dry onion soup mix is what has all the sodium in this recipe. I would recommend omitting the dry soup and replacing the water called for in the recipe with a low sodium chicken broth. I also recommend using a low sodium soy sauce as well. Then if needed, season with additional salt and pepper at the end.

Made this last night. It is certainly easy, but wasn't a huge hit. Daughter and I didn't like it. Too bold, too rich, just didn't work for us. Husband and son did really enjoy it, although husband said it tasted like something he would get on an airplane.

  • This is very tasty, have made it several times now. Would definitely recommend reducing soy sauce.
