Garlicky Green Beans with MushroomsAdd to Cookbook user submitted recipe
- 1 1/4 (pound) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 (cup) fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (tablespoon) butter
- 1/4 (teaspoon) salt
- 1/2 (teaspoon) onion powder
- 1/8 (teaspoon) pepper
- Place beans in a large saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute mushrooms and garlic in butter until tender. Drain beans; add to skillet. Allow to cook for 1 to 2 minutes more. Add salt, onion powder and pepper. Serve.
