Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 (pound) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 (cup) fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (tablespoon) butter
  • 1/4 (teaspoon) salt
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) onion powder
  • 1/8 (teaspoon) pepper

Directions

  1. Place beans in a large saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute mushrooms and garlic in butter until tender. Drain beans; add to skillet. Allow to cook for 1 to 2 minutes more. Add salt, onion powder and pepper. Serve.

    Sooo good! Fresh green beans lightly boiled then sauteed with garlic and mushrooms; excellent. I made this to accompany the Baked T-bones, also on this site. All of the family thoroughly enjoyed!
