My first Meatloaf ever. Thought it came out great, but next time I plan to add more apple.

Only needed a small onion, should have used a larger apple. Was a little bland. Took an hour to cook.

@Heather and Elizabeth~ Hi this is Chef Heather at Food on the Table. One suggestion I have is to add a little bit of applesauce to your meatloaf (for this recipe approximately 1/3 cup). The applesauce will add a ton of extra flavor as well as moisture. This is also a great tip to use especially if you are substituting ground turkey for ground beef, since ground turkey tends to be a bit more bland and drier than ground beef.

Great flavor, but mine fell apart. Next time I will not dunk the bread in water.

Out of 14 thumbs available (there are 7 of us), there were 11 thumbs up! I made them as burgers and added slices cheddar cheese.

This was ok as a base. As another user suggested I made them burgers because of time restraint. From what I remember I added sage, garlic, shredded sharp chedder cheese and sm cubed turkey keilbasa. oh yes and more apple.

@Tonia, it's approximately 230 calories per serving. @Jill, perhaps if you added an egg it would hold together better.
