Ingredients

  • 1 (pound) ground chicken
  • 1 (cup) bread crumbs
  • 3/4 (cup) blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 (whole) egg, beaten
  • 1/4 (cup) onion, minced
  • 1/3 (cup) buffalo-style hot sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Directions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat,oil grate to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, bread crumbs, blue cheese, egg, onion, and buffalo sauce in a mixing bowl until evenly combined. Form into 4 patties.
  3. Cook the patties on the preheated grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Serve on toasted hamburger buns.

    I switched out Italian dressing for the buffalo sauce since half of my family does not like buffalo. Everyone loved them, even the 1 year old.

    Use less bread crumbs. The burgers are dry if made by recipe.

  • I only used 1/2 c of bread crumbs. I also added 1/2 tsp of celery seed, 1/4 tsp of garlic powder, and of course, salt and pepper. I grated the onion so it wouldn't be chunky. We loved it after making these changes. My husband and are foodies, but we are on a major budget :)
