There must be a step missing here, or I bought the wrong kind of turkey breast tenderloins. They needed more time in over to roast in order to be cooked through. The sauce is too sweet.

@Timothy- If your turkey breasts were on the thicker side they may need longer to cook. Next time you could butterfly them so that they cook faster and you get more servings.

Thanks for that splendid idea, Chef Heather. Any ideas about the sauce. I thought it was too sweet. I will definitely keep making this meal, though because it did taste good.

Well the sweet factor is the maple syrup. Did you use real maple syrup or pancake syrup? The real stuff won't be as sweet as pancake syrup. But if the sweetness is still bothering you, next time you can reduce the amount of maple syrup, using 2 tablespoons instead of all 4. Also you could try substituting another sweetener like honey or brown sugar next time you make this.

I made this with precooked chicken tenders and it came out really well. Used pure maple syrup (and used a little more on accident) and it wasn't too sweet. I did have a little trouble getting the chicken powder to dissolve completely. Still it was good. :)Thumbs up.

@Shelly, I suggest dissolving the chicken powder in a little hot water (about 2 tablespoons) before adding it to the recipe.
