Are we sure the garlic and onion powders don't get teaspoons instead of tablespoons?

Had this last night. I used rib-eye and a diced portabella cap, and I used teaspoons instead of tablespoons for the garlic and onion powders, and it still seemed somewhat overwhelmed with seasoning. It was okay.
