2 (pound) shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 (clove) garlic, minced
1 (tablespoon) dried basil
1 (16.0 ounce package) whole wheat pasta
2 (cup) roma tomatoes, chopped
2 (tablespoon) olive oil
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside. Meanwhile, saute the shrimp with garlic in olive oil until they lose their transparency, about 2-3 minutes depending on size.
- Add basil and tomatoes, and simmer 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm over pasta.
