Made this today, but also added a couple diced apples to the pot. Served it over egg noodles with steamed broccoli. I'm not much of a pork chop fan, so I just had the noodles, broccoli and gravy, which was delicious. Everyone else loved it, too.

I forgot to mention that my husband said if I'd thrown in a little sour cream, it would have tasted like stroganoff! (He was right, too.)

My family loves this recipe. It's so quick and easy too. I never thought to add sour cream. I will try it next time. Thanks!

You could also add a bit of heavy cream to make it similar to stroganoff.

I was a little leary just because the soup and ketchup together didn't sound very appealing but it was wonderful my kids loved it and I just served it over white rice.

I made this tonight and it is delicious! I did make a bechamel sauce to replace the cream of mushroom soup. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

In my experience, the juice or liquid evaporates after it's been cooking in the crockpot for several hours. I'm a little weary of having it cook tomorrow during work with no water or chicken stock added. I may add a little liquid just to be on the safe side.

Just make sure to put your pork chops on top of the onion and you will not need to add liquid. The meat will actually make its own liquid while cooking. I would suggest cooking it on low instead if high if you're going to start it before work.

As I expected, they were dry. I left them to cook while at work on low for 6 hours (instead of 4 hrs on high). There was no juice or gravy at all. Everything that was left was sticking to the side of the pot and burning. I will not make this again.
