Ingredients

  • 4 (5-6 ounce) boneless pork chops
  • 1 (tablespoon) paprika
  • 1 (teaspoon) seasoning salt
  • 1 (teaspoon) rubbed sage
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) black pepper
  • 1/2 (teaspoon) garlic powder
  • 2 (tablespoon) butter

Directions

  1. Combine seasonings. Coat chops with seasoning mixture on both sides. In skillet, heat butter over high heat. Place chops in pan; reduce heat to medium. Fry on both sides until darkened, about 6 to 8 minutes each side. Serve immediately.

    At first, I was afraid that the amount of seasoning on the pork chops would be way to over powering, but I was wrong! These were delicious and probably in my top 5 ways to prepare pork chops. This is a great recipe for a beginning cook!

    Hi Jeff! Next time you make this adjust the seasonings to your liking! Increasing the cayenne pepper, adding some crushed red pepper, or even serving with some hot sauce.
