Ingredients
- 4 (1 inch thick) T-bone steaks
- 1/4 (teaspoon) salt
- 1/4 (teaspoon) coarse pepper
- 12 large shrimp, in shell
- 1/4 (cup) butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 shrimp and crab boil in bag seasoning
Directions
- Slash fat every 2 inches on edge of steak. Season with salt and pepper. Place on broiler pan or grill about 2 inches from heat. Cook 5 minutes each side for medium rare; 6 minutes each for medium, 7 minutes for well done.
- Boil a large pot of water while cooking steaks. Add the juiced lemon halves and the boil-in-bag seasoning to water. Add shrimp and boil until until cooked, about 3 minutes. Remove from water and discard shell leaving the tail on.
- Meanwhile, melt butter. Season with salt and pepper. Add lemon juice and shrimp and keep warm. Serve 1 steak and 3 shrimp (per person) with the lemon butter.
- Note: Lobster tail may be substituted for shrimp. Cook lobster tails in a steamer tray and put over a pot of boiling water. Cook tails completely, about 10 minutes.
