Very good! Bacon is what really "kicked it up a notch".

I improvised a little, I used can bacon and had to chop dill pickles, but I actually mixed it up, spread it on french bread halved lengthwise and broiled it with the cheese on top for an openfaced turkey melt. My hubby loved it!

Bacon makes everything better! So much so that I actually have bandaids that LOOK like bacon (they work, too!) Good job, Tina! I love hearing how home cooks improvise when they don't have ingredients! Inventiveness is the sign of a good cook!

I made it with lunch meat turkey. It was fine, but I don't recommend it. I think it would probably have been better with actual left over turkey.
