@Anonymous- To cut down on the amount of fat in this recipe try reducing the amount of butter called for in the cracker topping (you could probably get away with 1/4-1/3 cup). Also you could substitute broth or water for the milk in this recipe or omit the creamed soup and make your own cream sauce by making a roux and siring it into the milk/cheese mixture.

I served steamed broccolli with it. I aslo could not find creamy shrimp soup so I used creamof mushroom and add little shrimp I found at my store a bag (1/2 cup shrimp)for a 1dollar and then add cheese to it. yummy.

Leslie, we actually didn't add anything to it. We served this dinner alone. Though, normally we "hide" vegetables inside of our meals.

Awesome dish. I hate fish usually but tried this for the fun of it and really liked it. Instead of using butter crackers I used onion crackers and I cooked the shrimp in olive oil and garlic. There was a lot of extra sauce I thought so I threw in some frozen broccoli and cauliflower with the dish and put the sauce over all of it - turned out perfect. One complete meal that was very easy to make!
