The Better Way To Plan Meals And Save Money

Adding Categories

I know that I can create recipes, but I want to use Food on The Table for all my food planning needs. Can I add categories such as breakfast foods? Or light lunches? Snacks? I can input them, but I'm not sure how to do this, or if it's possible. This service would be so awesome for me if I could do ALL my planning, not just dinner.

Brandie, we are working on adding that now and should be able to have all meals in to system soon. Thanks for your patience while we continue to build and expand our site.

Chef Leslie, is there a way to search the recipe database for a certain ingredient? For example, I was given some sweet potatoes and would like to search for recipes using sweet potatoes.

@Anonymous, yes there is. On the main dashboard just type in the ingredient to the search bar near the top of the page. It is just under the big Food on the Table logo and says "recipe name, ingredient, recipe etc. in light gray. After entering your ingredient click on "search" and it will pull up recipes with that ingredient. Hope this helps!
