I would suggest fish. Fish is very healthy, low in fat, and filling. I turn the oven to 325, place a big piece of foil on a cookie sheet. Place the fish on the sheet of foil and pour a bit of olive oil on top. Sprinkle with spices: salt and pepper/lemon pepper/garlic salt/tony cachery seasoning etc. Fold the foil over the top making a "tent" make sure it has some space over the fish and is sealed on all sides. Cook about 10 minutes. Fish actually retains more of it's flavor if it is not well done. My favorite is salmon. Tilapia and Mahi Mahi are good too!

I would devil some eggs and make some tuna salad to keep in the fridge for quick protein pick-me-ups. To devil eggs I add mustard, light miracle whip, relish. I add the same for tuna salad but also add in some apples or celery.

Use color. What I mean is make every meal as colorful as possible and that is not food coloring!!!! It is from veggies. If there is color your meal will be healthier and mroe filling. If you make an omlet do it with more than egg and cheese. Add red and green peppers, spinach, onions. With every dinner prepared have a salad first to get some greens. Sandwiches should have lettuce, purple onions, shredded carrots. Add brocoli to anything you think you can. Full of fiber and good vitamines. Thanks!

The key to eating healthy meats is to choose lean cuts. Even chicken can have high fat with dark meats and the skin on it. There are lean cuts of pork and beef that can be included in healthy eating. A large portion of colorful fruit and veggies will be filling and add a variety of vitamins and minerals. The big key is to cut out the condiments, especially mayo, sour cream, oil etc. Also limit cheeses and substitute lower fat versions like 2%. Also eating foods in their most natural form, grilled meat, veggies and small amounts of pasta, rice, potatoe without heavy sauces, dressings, etc. boxed foods and casseroles are horrible for fat and calories. Good luck.

My favorite standby is a veggie stir fry with tofu. Start with some hard tofu and brown with a little avocado oil. Add in any veggies that you like (I love to add red bell peppers, red onion, garlic, yellow and green squash, portobello mushrooms, then wilt a little fresh spinach on top). This meal is perfect because it contains the right amounts of good fats, carbs, and protein. Hope this helps!

Hannah, there is also a "healthy" option on food on the table when you select your meals, I've been selecting this one and we are losing weight, so it does work.

Here's a really easy recipe for whatever white fish you like. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and lay out your filets in a single level. Season with salt and pepper, even a little oregano. Drizzle with just a bit of olive oil. Then top the fish with rounds of ripe tomato and very thin slices of onion. Another dash of seasoning on top of the tomato and onion, a decent drizzle of olive oil followed by a nice splash of balsamic vinegar. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 until fish is translucent. Serve with the pan juices...

Not that it's a specific food idea, but I would also suggest remembering that sometimes a few nice little bites are better for dieters than a big plate, so maybe you might think of appetizers that they might like, served alongside a portion or salad or some sort of grain or light pasta.
