I was looking for help with pancakes last night, and that reminded me that I need help with French toast, too. I wish mine puffed up a little more, but even though I put baking powder into the egg wash, it doesn't seem to puff up at all. Tastes good, but I'd like it to look prettier. Ideas?

Christine, you should try mixing the baking powder with some flour and then gradually add your egg wash mixture to the flour mixture. This should achieve your desired results. If you would like I can would be more than happy to share a recipe.

Thanks, I just saw this! I never used any flour in mine. I guess that was the problem. I'd love to have your recipe if you don't mind.
