Refrigerating fresh meat or fish?

How long are they good for? I see so many different answers for this in other places, and always worry about using something past its prime.

    Depends how you wrap it, any extra umm ingredients in the meat and fish. You can smell it if its bad, ice burn. I personally only let it freeze about 6 months at the most and always rotate and date the foods you freeze.

    You want to make sure it's not been previously frozen, too, so start by buying from a place where you know it's fresh.
