My resolution is to starting cooking dinners with all whole foods. I need to stop buying processed and pre-made foods and get back to basics!
My resolution is to completely stop smoking, I have been using the patch but often smoke about 4 cigarettes a day while driving to and from work. I also want to lose the weight that has been stubbornly hanging onto me since having our second son. I have a plan in place and ready to see it through!
I want to lose weight
My resolution for the coming year is to take better care of myself. I will be 60 years old and want to take the best care of myself that I can. Eating right and setting a good example for my family is what I am going to do.
My new years resolution is to find out what is wrong with me. This might sound like a strange resolution, but I have been sick for about three years with an undiagnoased stomach problem and the doctors have not come to any conclusions, so I have decided I want to figure this out on my own. It will be a lot of work, keeping a detailed food journal and journal of my reactions, but I know I can do it. I simply want to find out which foods do and do not make me feel sick. Then I can begin to only eat the ones that do not upset my stomach. I just want to feel normal and healthy again.
My focus on the new year is to continue to make my babys food from fresh vegetables and meat. My husband also had a scare with esophageal CA this year and we are focusing on the whole family changing their diet to more fresh healthy and nutritious foods. Last year was tough in so many ways so we would like this new year to be positive and healthy!
My New Years Resolution is to finally “get it right” in several aspects of my life: Physical, Spiritual, Emotional. I’ve spent a lifetime of worrying about “becoming” what I am supposed to be. Time to start doing something about it!!
My New Year’s Resolution is to become a healthier me by controlling the things that I have the option to control. I am going to meet my daughter at the gym; goal is 3 morning a week before work. I am also going to try to give up the peach tea that I drink. I don’t drink soda & the tea will be my next step in the goal to eliminate refined sugar.
My Resolution is:
TO BE A WINNER !! Not a loser a WINNER !! Please let me keep my New Year’s Resolution. : )
My New Years Resolution is to be a role model to my daughter. I am a single mother of one beautiful 18 month old. I have noticed over the last few months with weight gain that I cannot play with her without getting tired. Carrying her around is getting more difficult. I want to go on walks with her and teach her to eat healthy and stay fit. I also want to teach her to lover herself and to have self esteem. This processor will be a good step to creating healthier meals for our family. I really appreciate a comment from anyone. Thanks
My Resolution is:
To eat healthy, cook more, and eat out less. To have a more disciplined approach to my dieat and overal health.
I WILL lose weight
And keep it off!
I would love to post my resolution and will look for reminder from you to do so by January 1st! Thank you for the opportunity. P. S. I love your program but encourage you to keep adding more, new fun recipes.
My resolution is to cook more. I want to learn how to use spices correctly and learn how to blend flavors to bring out the best in all my foods.
my resolution is to incorporate more veggies into the meals that i’ll be cooking for my family of 4 and to teach my kids eat more healthy food than munching on deep fried snacks or other unhealthy ones.
I resolve to have Sunday supper for my family every week. As a busy family of five with everyone involved in different activities, it is difficult for us to all sit together at a meal. Sundays after morning church and before evening services are our only downtime. I have decided this will be our best time for a “all together” meal. It will Aldo give me time to experiment with new recipes and cooking styles. I am open to lots of suggestions on how to include and encourage my family in the cooking. I want this time to be a MEAL– not just eating. Food for the spirit and bodyand a reconnection as a family. Know what I mean?
I plan to help one person a day. Whether it b with food, gas,a place to stay or what have you each day a new person will b helped by me and my family. It makes the world a better place one step at a time.
I resolve to drink more beer and run at least 1 marathon in 2012. Also to be more passive agressive. If I feel like it.
I will lose weight this year. but last years I did lose weight and kept if off I just didnt hit my goal, but this year I will hit my goal
Stick with clean eating and getting the whole family on board. Nothing processed.
I want to be 15 pounds lighter this time next year!
I resolve to live longer, better, happier, and healthier in 2012.
This year will be the year I slow down and see through rose colored glasses.. every day I notice how hectic life is getting. I will take the time to watch my children grow up, I will stop and smell the roses, I will slow down and take a step back to really appreciate it all: my family, my friends and my health. Without health what do you really have anyway? I will buy more produce and less frozen…I will cook an entire meal without opening a box or plastic container. I will slow the heck down and enjoy a meal one bite at a time!
I resolve to have a cleaner house by making and keeping a cleaning schedule
Since I have been a stay at home Mom for a little over a year I would like to get on a regular schedule for doing housework, getting dinner on the table, crafts with the kids, and exercise. I realize that when I keep my house neater and less cluttered I am less stressed and find it easier to lose weight and get a good nights sleep.
I have the displeasure of having diabetes since 1995. In 2008 I lost the big toe on my right foot, in 2009 I lost the big toe and the toe next to it, in 2011 I lost my left leg all due to complications of diabetes. My New Year’s Resolution is to eat healthier and to get my diabetes under better control. This food processor will help me prepare better healthier meals. The lost of my leg has cost me my job and has put me in the process of having to qualify for disability. A long process so funds are very tight right now.
Next year I would like to not take the easy way out of eating out and cook healthy lighter meals more often
My resolution is to eat healthier and maybe lose some weight. Hopefully by me eating better, so will my kids.
My resolution is to win this and cook food for my wife which i have never done before..
I will start pre-preparing HEALTHY dinners/meals for the month, and freezing them, so that in my busy family-of-6 lives we will have a good, hot meal almost every night of the week! And that GORGEOUS food processor [actually, I looking at (and drooling over) those very things this week] sure would help with THAT resolution
For me 2012 will be the year I lose ALL this weight from the prednisone (I have a non curable vascular disease — Wegener’s Granulomatosis — and have to take prednisone daily to stay alive)… 80lbs will be gone. By the time the clock hits midnight for 2013… I will have lost all the weight I want to lose. To do so.. I would need to average 6.66 lbs lost per month. I can do this and no one is going to get in my way
add me and I will enter my resolution on Jan 1
My resolution is to lose 2 lbs. per month and to put more time into my business.
I am a Neuro surgical nurse. I am on my feet from 8 to 14 hours a day taking care of my patients. I do a great job taking care of them, a not so great job taking care of myself. My goal this coming year is to take better care of myself – mostly involving cooking wholesome foods and exercising more. This will make me feel better and will make me a better nurse for my patients.
DH and I are going to start going to the gym to swim three days a week!! Baby #4 is 9.5 mos old… It’s time to get back in shape!! We are also gonna do the juice diet for the first couple of weeks, then he’s switching to a modified Atkins (quite a radical switch- I know!) and I’m just eliminating dairy and processed foods (since I’m breastfeeding -no extreme diets for me!!).
So excited!! I only have about 15 pounds to lose, but hubby has a bit more!
. We’re going to motivate eachother and keep one another on track and held accountable.
My resolution is to lose my last 10 pounds and help my husband lose his last 40 pounds by continuing to learn about making healthy food choices. We are bored with our current menu, and I really need to learn to make some new healthy dishes.
After 20 years without a traditional oven I now have the wall oven I always wanted. So my resolution is to cook healthier meals for myself and my two grandsons who live with me. And maybe even host next years Christmas dinner.
My resolution is to meal plan more efficiently. Too much wasted food and impulse buying the way I do it now and I know with a little bit of effort I can make an improvement, both economically and organizationally.
I want to push myself to run my first 5K, and maybe even a half-marathon by the end of the year.
My resolution is to remember that we as human beings are all special and unique. To take care of the health I have been blessed with. Never take a moment for granted!
My new year’s resolution is to learn how to live in this body. I have a non descript auto immune disease (prob fibromyalgia) and can’t figure out how to deal with work, family and house. I used to have the energy of three people and now I have only 1/3 of one person. How can I make my life work?
My New Year’s resolution is to eat better and lose weight. I am disabled and cannot move like I use to. Hence the weight has made it worse. Eating less processed food and more fruit and vegtables will help me alot.
My New Years resolution is to have more money get off food stamps and be able to pay the mortgage and pay the bills without assistance.
My resolution this year is to take more time to enjoy the small things in life. Instead of getting caught up in the grind and wondering where the year went in December, I want to savor the time I have here with my family. This includes getting back to my love of cooking with my family. One event that has been lost in the shuffle of the day-to-day grind.
My resolution is to menu plan and stick to it!!! Also, I’d like to bring lunch 3x a week.
Our resolution is to begin exercise program, lose weight, build muscle, and build a stronger and healthier family. We are also going to get involved in our local soup kitchen and hope to begin one of our own some day.

I resolve to continue to find ways to eat healthier & to make my family healthy meals at home. Amp up my exercise by finding fun outside sports to mix with my gym workouts! It’s going to B a great year & I hope I can inspire those around me!!!
I am not going to have one but if I did select one it will be to try not to post pictures of my meals on FB! It drives my sister nuts b/c she thinks that I can’t cook and I post them often. She better watch out if I win this blender!I willpost 3-4 recipe items per week!
My resolution is to be a better mom. I want to cook better meals for my kids. I want to quit with frozen food and fast food. I have 4 kids and I want them to like other veggies and fruits than the basics. They need to broaden their pallets or they will starve to death when they get older. I also want to be able to take them to fun places and spend more time with them. I don’t want to worry so much about the house and just be with them.
I resolve to get fully on board with eating better in the coming year. I felt much better when I ate more fruits and vegetables. Also I want to add physical activities to at least 3-4 days a week, even if it is boxing on the Wii, which by the way is a work out.
Want to lose 15 lbs by next year and keep it off. Work on a good cardio workout to maintain a healthy heart. Declutter my closet space and donate items no longer in use to a charity. That’s my resolution for 2012.
My New Year’s Resolution is to lose the weight that I took off last year and put back on after I lost a friend. I realzied the other day that I got off my healthy habits kick when she died and I ended up with shingles. I need to set a better example for my kids since I’ve noticed that I’m not the only one who’s put on weight.
My New Year’s Resolutions are to learn to budget & stick with it, shop sales & coupons, & cook more healthy and light for my diabetic husband. I feel that those are resolutions that I can follow through with.
My resolution is to make my health a priority by choosing better diet and exercise habits. And, in doing so, be an example to my children as I try to teach them healthy habits.
My resolution…..TO COOK 28 NIGHTS OF THE MONTH! I’m so sick of eating out, and I LOVE to cook, but having a toddler and working 2 hrs away from home makes that very difficult. I want to buy a deep freezer, and make freeze ahead meals and crock pot meals a STAPLE in my home. I want these to be healthy though. That’s why I signed up for Food on The Table! I NEED YOUR IDEAS!!!!!
In 2012 I will plan our meals better so that we do not have to eat out as much and can save money with coupons!

I am enjoying my smaller KitchenAid 7 cup food processor, but would love some of the added options the larger 13 cup version offers. With a big garden, a big food processor would be a blessing!
