We’re winding down our 12 Days of Kitchen Essentials, but I’m really excited to give away a set of kitchen tongs today. When you’re putting together quick and easy dinners, you need tools that will help you out. Tongs are the tool that will make a quick and easy dinner come together in no time.
Tongs can be used in almost any meal-related activity in the house.
- Cooking
Use them to remove items from hot liquid like oil or boiling water. - Being Safe
Pick up hot items on the stove, like lids of saucepans. - Grilling
The long handle protects your hand from the heat. Use them to flip both meat and vegetables. In some cases, they give you more control than a spatula.

Tongs are great for turning & serving meat, no matter how it is cooked. rubber tipped tongs are great for tossing and serving salads.

I use my tongs for baked chicken, bacon, hot dogs, turning most any meat over and also for serving these same meats! A very essential tool!
You can never have too many!
